Family Road Trips! Don't You Just Love em!

Road travel is increasing year upon year and it is predicted that even more holiday makers will be on the tarmac this year. Traveling with your loved ones can be a great way to spend quality time together but it can also be a stressful horrible experience. Increase your chances of a relaxing, stress-free and safe holiday by following a few easy tips

Stop your kids getting bored with child's play. "Are we  nearly there yet?"  You hear them ask for the fourth time if five minutes. Try to keep your children amused on your journey with some games that make the time pass a lot faster and getting to where you're going fun. Magnetic board games, portable video games and televisions and classics such as the license plate game, "I Spy"  and yellow car to name but a few

When stopping at  motorway services be sure to keep all valuables hidden from sight or on your person . Eat properly. of course, you can stop at the services for food-along with the thousands of other motorway users but roadside eating places do not  always offer the healthiest of  choices for you and your family. Instead, keep your family's bellies full with healthy snacks that you can eat right in the car, such as trail mix, string cheese, fruit roll-ups, bottles of water, and fruit. These easy, convenient snacks are yummy (for them) and healthy (for you)

Keep everyone happy. Pick a destination that has fun activities for all ages.

Family vacations can be chaotic but immensely rewarding at the same time. And if you keep these tips in mind, you can help ensure safe and happy travels-at least until you get there.

When stopping at rest stops, make sure it's just your kids getting back in the car and not germs they pick up in the bathroom.
